BEACON LIGHTING — 3D ANIMATION — PERSPECTIVE + LED RIBBON
Below is an example mockup of the style of animation for the beacon reveal for the game opening moment. This is currently a flat perspective video rather than a 3D perspective video, which could make some elements look like they are coming out of the screen (see 3rd video down for example).
I’m thinking for the 3D perspective element, we could have a hand reaching out or a torch being thrown out of the screen and around the ribbons to lead the crowds eyes to where you’re going to light the physical beacon!

LIVE CAMERA REAL TIME EFFECTS — JUMBOTRON
Below is an example mockup of a real time camera effect. We can route the live camera feed through a processing software to use real time head tracking. Then live camera feed with the effects overlayed are sent to the jumbotron. This could be a fun way for the crowd to get involved pre and post match, while also giving people an opportunity to share their experience on social media.

THE IDEA
“CREATE A REAL TIME VISUL REPRESENTATION OF THE ATMOSPHERE IN THE STADIUM, TO ENCOURAGE AND REWARD FANS FOR PARTICIPATION.”
HOW DOES IT WORK?
By Placing microphones throughout the stadium, the sound from the crowd will be picked up and put through an interactive software (similar to the kit reveal Immersive Gallery Experience) which generates a visual in real time.
The sound the crowd makes in each section will generate a visual which will be shown on the corresponding section of the LED strip that goes around the whole stadium.
Simply put:
The louder the crowd gets, the brighter the screens gets.

WHY?
We aim to create unique and immersive experiences — This technology has been used in the music industry, but not inside the sports industry. So this would be a WORLD’S FIRST!
USE CASES
The colours and style can be changed — this will allow for Charlotte FC and Carolina Panthers both to use it for their respected game days. Not only that, but if there ever any additional events, it can be tweaked and be used for that.
POTENTIAL THOUGHTS
“We have sponsors that pay to have their logos on the LED strip during the game”
No problem! — We can either create a design that includes the logos (again, similar to the Ally Interactive Gallery Experience)
OR
We can create a audio threshold so the visuals only shows once the crowd are at a certain volume, e.g. once their team has scored a goal!
