Peoples Hall Proposal — 3D Scanning and interactive applICATIOn
3D scan of the People’s Hall Nottingham to be used as an EDUCATIONAL and communication tool for the community of nottingham and wider funding opportunities.
High resolution 3d scanning
High Resolution 3D scanning of the full building, internally and externally, including all rooms, cave basement rooms and full external aerial scan (roof etc).
WhAT the peoples hall will receive
• ‘RAW’ high resolution 3d model, which includes high resolution textures of the building as it currently is. (perfect for archival and digital exploration of the current building).
• Architectural style high resolution 3D model, cleaned up and untextured. (perfect digital exploration without the distraction of colour and texture).
• ‘Time portal’ high resolution 3D model, this is where we take the cleaned up model and create textures and internal furniture and lighting to make the building look like it would of one it was first opened by Anne Morley).
• 6 animated video fly throughs (full building, floor 1, floor 2, floor 3, Cave Rooms and Aerial external fly around.
• 20 High resolution rendered stills (Minimum every room + External aerial).
All videos and rendered stills to be provided in desktop and social media formats

BELOW ARE MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS TO USE THE 3D MODELS. The proposal cost of each of these would be in addition to the 3D scanning (see above).

We will work with the Peoples Hall team to create an interactive website that is educational and communicative for all the visitors. This will not only be a place for people to find out my about the Building as it is now, but also how it used to be and what the future might hold for this amazing historic building.
WhAT the peoples hall will receive
• Interactive website to be the new online home for People’s Hall.
• Viewable and interactable 3D models of the building embedded in the website.
•The website will be created for both Desktop and Phone layouts, allows interactive elements however people access the website.
Additional costs of hosting and domain name may occur (estimated £140 per year).

+ VIRTUAL REALITY (VR) Interactive EXPERIENCE
Walk around the current People’s Hall building in Virtual Reality remotely or on site. This will include the option for the users to view each of the 3D models (The textured model of the building now, cleaned up architectural style model and Time Portal model).
WhAT the peoples hall will receive
• 4x Meta Quest 3 with the interactive experience installed
• The creation of an interactive VR experience.
• All 4x Meta Quest 3’s in a wheelable hardcase for protection and transportation (great for taking into schools or offices)

+ interactive touchscreen experience
Custom built Point of Sale style stand with integrated touchscreen and computer to allow users to rotate and zoom, in and around the 3D models.
WhAT the peoples hall will receive
• Custom built Point of Sale style stand to integrate screen and computer.
• 1x touchscreen display
• 1x Computer to run the interactive experience
Total: £32,245
+ interactive Augmented reality experience
An iPad based augmented reality (AR) experience where the users can view the 3D models on any flat surface. They can scale up the model and move the app to view the model from an angle imaginable!
WhAT the peoples hall will receive
• Augmented reality experience with integrated 3D models
• 2x iPad Pros
• Hard wearing tracking marker boards.
• Hardcase for protection and transportation (great for taking into schools or offices)
Total: £18,475
+ 3D printed architectural educational model.
Let users get hands-on with the building exploring the different floors and rooms in this compartmentalised 3D printed model. Lift the roof off to see inside and remove floor by floor to explore the whole building.
